6 cup maida flour / all purpose flour
2 cup of sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp spoon saffron color
4 stands of saffron
2 tsp of cashew
2 tsp of raisins
5 tsp of clarified butter or Ghee
oil to fry
pinch of salt
mix maida,salt and water make a chapati dough, make small balls and spread it as chapati.Fry this is medium heat to golden color and keep it aside, the poori should be like a paapad / happala to a crispy consistency.
add 2 cups of sugar to 1 cup of water and allow it to boil , the syrup should be single stand syrup to test put syrup to col water you should be able to take a stand with your finger.
crush the pooris and add it to luke warm syrup add cashew, raisins ( fried to golden color in ghee ) and mix it well. make a laddu ( balls ) from it and keep it.
you can enjoy mohana laddu . you can keep it for a month or 2 in a air tight container.
